The Floyd County General Assistance Office works to assist low income families who are ineligible for or are waiting approval from federal or state assistance programs. No appointment is required to stop by the Floyd County General Assistance Office. A person must: Be 18 years of age; Be a resident of Floyd County; Meet income guidelines

Rent Assistance; Current Utilities Assistance; Burial Assistance; Health Supplies Assistance; Medical Assistance; Access to health care to University of Iowa hospitals and clinics
