Eastpointe Housing Commission

The Eastpointe Housing Commission has played an important role in providing safe, sanitary, affordable housing for the lower income residents of the City of Eastpointe since its inception in 1964. Currently, the Housing Commission assists 335 senior citizens and families throughout Macomb, Oakland, and Wayne counties. The commission administers 164 elderly housing units in two residential buildings and administers rental assistance in the private sector for 171 low income families through the Section 8 Housing Choice voucher program.
