Darlington County Community Action Agency

Darlington County Community Action Agency is a non-profit corporation which was established in 1965 by the County Delegation under the authority granted by the General Assembly of South Carolina in Act #314. The D.C.C.A.A.,Inc. has promoted public understanding of both causes and conditions of poverty in Darlington County and has had a direct impact upon the attitudinal and institutional barriers of self-sufficiency that our clients face every day. We operate the following service programs; Head Start, Community Service Block Grant (CSBG, Low Income Heating and Emergency Assistance Program (LIHEAP), Weatherization Assistant Program (WAP), Homeless and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP), and the Youth Leadership (YLP).
