Dakota Prairie Community Action Agency - Rolla Office

Dakota Prairie Community Action Agency (DPCAA) exists to empower families and individuals to increase self sufficiency and improve their quality or life through achievement of personal goals. DPCAA is one of seven Community Action Agencies (CAAs) operating in North Dakota. CAAs develop programs and provide services that are designed to assist low income and disadvantaged households to address unmet needs. Activities are designed to assist individuals and families to become less dependent on government. We serve the residents of Ramsey, Rolette, Eddy, Towner, Benson, and Cavalier Counties.

Shelter Assistance (First month's rent; Payment of overdue rent to prevent eviction; Payment of overdue mortgage to prevent foreclosure; Temporary Shelter for transients and homeless; Shelter Plus Care - housing assistance with supportive services for disabled and homeless individuals; Tri State HELP - housing opportunities for persons with AIDS/HIV); Utility Assistance (Energy Share of North Dakota); Weatherization Assistance Program
