Community Hope - Hope for Veterans

Community Hope is the largest nonprofit serving homeless veterans and families in and around New Jersey. Our mission is: Helping individuals, including veterans, and their families, overcome mental illness, addiction, homelessness and poverty by providing housing and support services. Through our Hope for Veterans® Programs, we have rescued over 2,000 veterans and their families from homelessness and despair. We believe that those who honorably served our country and defended our freedom deserve a roof over their head and to live with dignity.

Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) Program: Financial Assistance Services (rental assistance, utility payments, security payments, moving costs, childcare and transportation expenses), Social Service Assistance (Case management services may include: Housing counseling/housing search, securing utilities, mediation with property owners, financial budgeting, employment assistance and navigation of eligible benefits and services); Transitional Housing; Permanent Supportive Housing
