About this program

The mission of the Community Action Program Committee, Inc., is to assist low-income people in Escambia County to achieve self-sufficiency. The purpose of the agency shall be to carry out the overall responsibility of planning, coordinating, evaluating and administering a Community Action Program to that end.

Don't waste your time calling the " 24 Hour Appointment Line" It's a sham it doesn't matter what time you call you will be told all appointments for that day have been filled to call back the next business day. And the next day and the next ..... 10 days straight all hours of the day and night there are no appointments!
