Community Action of Napa Valley - Homeless Prevention and Rental Assistance

For over forty years, Community Action of Napa Valley (formerly NCCEO) has administered a wide variety of health and human service programs to benefit low-income people. Our goal has been to increase the self-determination and self-sufficiency of individuals and families who are economically disadvantaged or are senior citizens. Homeless Prevention and Rental Assistance offer both long and short term assistance to help families and individuals avoid homelessness by maintaining the housing they currently have. Funds may be available for rental deposits, lapsed rent, utilities and shallow on-going rental subsidy. If authorized those payments are paid directly to the landlord or vendor. Rapid Rehousing helps homeless households move into and maintain sustainable housing. Shallow rental subsidies may be available while intense case management helps to keep the households housed. Referrals for RRH come through our shelter case managers and other community partners.
