Chelsea Housing Authority

Organised in 1946 to address the housing needs of the city's low and moderate income residents, the Chelsea Housing Authority (CHA) is "a public body politic and corporate," authorized by state law and regulated by its state and federal funding sources, the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
