Chattahoochee Valley Episcopal Ministry

Direct Service is the largest of CVEM's programs and at the backbone of why we serve. Volunteers meet with those in need in the Chattahoochee Valley area on an appointment-basis three days a week. CVEM works to provide assistance with rent, mortgage, scholarships, medical expenses, transportation and others needs as we are able. During face-to-face meetings, volunteers also work to be a source of advocacy and empowerment to those we serve, so that all who come through our doors find not just help for the moment but start taking steps toward long-term self-sufficiency. CVEM also partners with several local agencies to help meet the needs of our community.
