Catholic Charities Diocese of Cleveland - Bishop William M. Cosgrove Center

The Bishop William M. Cosgrove Center, commonly called “Cosgrove” is one of the largest day drop-in centers in the Greater Cleveland area. Under the leadership of Catholic Charities Diocese of Cleveland, the purpose of Cosgrove is to serve as a safe haven to the community, responding to the needs of those in the midst of trying times; inspiring hope in a just and compassionate manner that respects the dignity of every person, while encouraging self-sufficiency. At Cosgrove, guests can access such fundamental services as hot meals, shower facilities, mail distribution, basic needs assistance helping to obtain a birth certificate, state identification card, eyeglass assistance, rental and utility and the opportunity to socialize by engaging in recreational activities. In addition, the center offers referrals to employment and training programs, health and mental mental screenings, Veteran Administration benefits and aid with obtaining housing subsidies.
