Section 8

The Section 8 Tenant-Based Housing Assistance program administers 549 Housing Choice Vouchers for very low-income families. Serving eligible Section 8 participants, the Family Self-Sufficiency Program encourages clients to meet realistic goals and achieve financial independence. Special loan programs including weatherization and home ownership initiatives are available and targeted to low-income homeowners and renters.
