About this program

The mission of Big Sandy Area Community Action Program is to provide a vast array of services to assist individuals and families in obtaining self-sufficiency and, through collaborative efforts of community and organizational partnerships, improve the overall quality of life within the community.

My home recently burnt. I received emergency housing (3days of funding) and 200.00 to rent a home where I could find one available and suitable for me and my family through FEMA! I was wondering if there’s any other help I can get toward paying the first months & 1/2 of the last month’s rent and a 200.00 security deposit?
