The Bayonne Economic Opportunity Foundation was incorporated in 1965 by resolution of the City of Bayonne as a private nonprofit agency. B.E.O.F’s philosophy is Community Action through the marshaling of citizens’ participation and public and private funding. Although the agency’s mission is to assist low income citizens, we pride ourselves on trying never to turn anyone away who feel they are in need without a referral to where they can be assisted.
